Everyone builds community. Help build yours by volunteering with Yakima Valley Partners Habitat for Humanity! We have volunteer opportunities for individuals and groups at locations throughout Yakima County, including construction sites, our administrative office, the Habitat Store, and special events. No experience is necessary, and on-site training is provided. Volunteer with us to strengthen our community, learn new skills, meet new people, and help build homes, community, and hope. Before scheduling a volunteer shift, all volunteers must complete our Volunteer Application and be approved to participate.

Step 1: Complete the Volunteer Application:

Step 2: Complete any additional requirements sent to you by email, including providing identification for the required background check.

Step 3: Once your application has been processed and you are approved to volunteer, you will receive an email from Yakima Habitat with the code needed to schedule your volunteer shift.

Already an approved volunteer? If your application and waiver are current, we’ll provide the scheduling code so you can get started. Please do not schedule or share scheduling codes until the volunteer approval process is complete. Thank you for volunteering with Yakima Habitat.
