Yakima Valley Partners Habitat for Humanity is proud to partner with the City of Yakima on the Adopt-a-Block program. This citywide initiative encourages neighbors to come together to help keep Yakima clean, safe, and welcoming.

Participants are asked to complete at least two clean-ups each year. Each clean-up can be as simple as picking up litter, removing debris, or maintaining green spaces. Participants are encouraged to schedule clean-ups at times that work best for their group.

When a clean-up is complete, participants can take photos and upload them to the Yak Back site, which helps the City track progress and celebrate community pride. Helpful resources such as Clean-up Tips and the Litter Clean-up Protocol are available on the program website: Adopt-A-Block

In Support of Yakima Valley Partners Habitat for Humanity
Together, we build a better future.

At Yakima Valley Partners Habitat for Humanity, we bring people together to build homes, community, and hope. We work alongside individuals to help them access safe, affordable homes and create a strong foundation to build the life they choose.

Through volunteerism, partnership, and local support, we are expanding access to homeownership and strengthening neighborhoods across the Yakima Valley. Every home we build sparks wider change, improving health, expanding opportunity, and strengthening the neighborhoods we call home.
